How to use CSV to Excel Converter
Upload a CSV file, confirm the delimiter and preview the parsed rows. Edit cells if needed, then export the data as an XLSX workbook.
Supported workflow and limitations
CSV does not store formatting, formulas, multiple sheets or data types. Excel may interpret values such as dates and long identifiers automatically; review the workbook after export.
Privacy and file handling
Your selected files are processed in your browser. ProTools does not require you to upload them to a document-processing server. Required JavaScript libraries and language data may be downloaded from their respective CDNs. Analytics and advertising are controlled separately by your cookie preferences.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose a delimiter?
The converter detects common comma, semicolon and tab separators. You can review the preview and change the delimiter if the source uses a regional format.
Are formulas and formatting preserved?
CSV contains plain text values only. The output workbook contains the data in cells but cannot recover formulas or formatting that were not present in the CSV.
Are files uploaded?
CSV parsing and XLSX generation run in your browser.
